Waffen-SS winter-anorak (often referred to as: 'Charkov parka') being an example of the first pattern. The anorak is executed in typical greyish-green-coloured linnen and is lined with multi-coloured genuine fur. The piece retains its original (green-coloured) draw-string and has all period buttons in place. The piece is of a large-sized (and is clearly ink-stamped with a large-sized '3'-character denoting its size). The piece shows some obvious age, wear and minimal (rust-)staining but is void of any real damage. It should be noted that these first-pattern 'Charkov parkas' (recognisable due to the pull-over-style and having only 5 front-buttons) can easily be graded 'fairly rare'.
