Excellent late war field tunic for a Croatian volunteer in the rank of a Leutnant serving with the Wehrmacht. A typical very late tailor's work. Tailored like an M41 tunic.
All buttons show full color and are original attached. Breast eagle and collar tabs are attached quite sloppy by hand but definitely attached period time. The breast eagle is slightly damaged to the left top corner.
The "HRVATSKA" machine-woven sleeve badge is attached by hand however this was done more accurately and certainly not by the same tailor.
Grey silk lining. Inner breast pocket from white linen. Both also typically latewar. Collar constructed without hooks.
