"Been there" field tunic for a Nebeltruppe officer in the rank of an Oberst. Very rare "bordeauxrot" colored shoulder boards and collar tabs which show absolutely matching signs of wear and patina. The boards are to slip-on. The tabs are attached by hand. The breast eagle is correctly attached by hand. There are no traces of previously attached insignia. All insignia are original attached.
The tunic is tailored from fine Italian gabardine. Typical for a manufacturing time around 1943/44. There are four pair of loops for medals to the breast pocket with clear signs of wear. Furthermore two loops for a ribbon bar. The ribbon bar attached to this tunic is very nice but probably not to the tunic originally. It comes with a miniature clasp to the 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class and a nice NSDAP Long Service Award in silver.
