A very late period time privately purchased Heer field tunic designed like an M36 pattern. The earliest pattern was considered very elegant with its dark green collar and insignia and the preferred design of most soldiers.
The tunic was tailored from Italian cloth around 1943/44. It is untouched and comes with period time attached insignia.
Breast eagle: machine-woven NCO / officer's pattern. Attached by machine through the lining period time.
Collar tabs: period time attached by hand
Shoulder boards: early stile NCO boards to slip-on.
Lining: Cotton.
Buttons: Period time attached. Complete
Period time loops for three awards. Attached Iron Cross ribbon and a ribbon bar.
