Excellent, late war black Heer Panzer "Feldjacke" (field jacket) which collectors call a "wrapper". Manufactured in 1944.

This very wrap is pictured on pages 212-213 (with additional details shown on other pages) of the book Panzer Feldjacke Vol. 1 by Scott Pritchett.
Collar tabs: pink silk piping. Zinc skulls. Both tabs are matching in condition and are absolutely period time attached to the jacket with the same thread as the collar was tailored!
Shoulder boards: missing. Correct buttons and shoulder board loops in place.
Breast eagle: Machine-woven. EM/NCO type. Triangle type. Period time attached through the lining!
Buttons: all buttons complete
Lining: browning linen and cotton.
Markings: size markings. "F44" depot marked
