Very rare Heer parade tunic for a Pionier EM serving with Pionier-Batallion 38. Pionier parade tunics are extremely hard to find. This is an extraordinarily nice example with machine-stiched "38" numbering.
Black piped EM shoulder baords with machine-stiched black "38" numberd. Fine white bordering. Machine-attached EM collar tabs on black backing. Black piping around the collar and vertikal button line. Dark green cuffs with overall black piping and machine-attached cuff tabs.
Hand-stiched bullion breast eagle correctly and period time attached by hand.
Fine silk lining with minor signs of wear. No name or tailor's tag. One of the rear buttons looks period time re-attached to us. You an see it by extra stiching to the inside lining.
