Heer graue Feldjacke für Sturmgeschütz Besatzungen (Sturmgeschützjacke)

Beschreibung
Wehrmacht Heer assault-gunners 'wrap-around'-tunic (ie. 'Panzerschützanzug') as was produced in greenish-coloured HBT- (ie. 'Drillich'-) material.
Please note that the wrapper came with Assault Gunner trousers made from HBT (following lot). Both were made from the same cloth.

The piece was with certainty issued and was moderately used and/or worn. All (carton-based-) buttons (which are non-marked) are present and in place. The piece shows a single (larger-sized) outer-pocket (as to be expected) and shows a standard-pattern, field-grey-coloured- and 'BeVo'-woven breast-eagle attached (which is period-sewn onto the tunic by means of machine-stitching).

Both internal cords (present to vary the tunics' waist) are present and in place. The piece shows a maker- (ie. size-) stamp comprising of an: 'Rbn.'-number and size-indication: '43 47 88 89 88'.

The tunic came with a - matching - pair of bright-red-piped and 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulder-straps having the 'silk-like'-type piping attached. This pair shows the (standard-pattern) silverish-grey-coloured, NCO-braid attached denoting the NCOs'-rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Beobachtungs-Abteilungs' (or sergeant first-class who served within a reconnaissance-unit). The pair - sized 11 cms. in length - is equally moderately worn and shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining.

The tunic shows a (matching) pair of red-piped collar-patches (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel' (off-factory) attached. The tunic is fairly sized and will with certainty fit a medium-sized mannequin: it has a waist of approximately: 82 cms.

Simply an untouched and rarely seen 'Heeres-Panzerschützanzug in Drillich'. It could be of interest to mention that this tunic is constructed from exactly the same material as the 'Heeres-Panzerschützhose in Drillich' which is also offered within this auction.
