M1909 pair of leather ammunition pouches worn by a cavalry soldier.
Condition: Constructed from solid brown leather. Leather is still soft and flexible. Full straps and a nice set (slightly mismatched) probably used by one soldier. Signs of use and age.
Production: 1 pouch set without stamps, 1 pouch set with stamp in middle compartment. Stamped with "KR" (calvary regiment) and number illegible. This pouch was produced by Maury and Co. in Offenbach am Main, dated 1915. The other pouch was produced by Rudolf Wiemer and Co. in Mühlheim-Ruhr, dated 1914. With brass studs.
