The sabre comes with a three-sided etched blade featuring beautiful ornaments and naval motifs. It also shows the emblem of the Kailserliche Marine on both sides. "WKC" maker marked. Stains on all three sides and the tip has strong filing marks.
White handle with intact wire wrapping. No chipping or cracks. Gilt iron handle fittings with a folding crossguard bearing the Kailserliche Marine emblem. A beautiful lion's head pommel with inlaid glass eyes. Leather scabbard with gilded iron fittings. It has a "kink" next to the bottom fitting. The stud on the upper fitting that holds the sabre to the scabbard is missing. Furthermore, the blade does not slide 100% into the scabbard.
Comes with the original sabre hangers, so-called "Peitschengehänge" (whip hangers). Fully functional snap clips.
