Saxon General Staff officer's spike helmet. Multi-piece constructed tombak front badge with enameled round Saxon emblem and motto "PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR". No damage to the fine enamel.
Black-white-red "Reichskokarde" and white-green "Landeskokarde" nicely enameled. Original attached. Convex silvered officer's chin strap. Leather strap backing broken.
Removable silvered spike attached to its original plate. No extra holes. Also, no extra holes to the front badge.
Leather corpus in good shape however slightly restored (blackened).
Lining from ripped silk with signs of damage. Soft leather sweat-band.
A size "54" metal tag attached to the rear visor.
