A very nice 1st pattern "old style" visor cap for an officer with a soft leather visor. Collector's call this type of cap a "crusher cap".
Piping: "Goldgelb" color for cavalry troops
Insignia: Machine-woven officer's cap eagle and wreath badge. The correct type of insignia for this cap. Period time attached by machine.
Sweat-band: Nicely worn with no damage.
Lining: Fine silk lining with intact celluloid diamond. Signs of wear. Some stains. Cracks to the diamond.
Visor: Soft leather
