Very early Buntmetall/Tombak made Bronze-grade Infantry Assault Badge. Although completely unmarked this IAB is safely attributed to the company Petz & Lorenz. A company that lost its license to manufacture awards already in 1941 making all P&L made awards very sought after. The same goes for this IAB that design-wise is closely related to the O. Schickle IAB but features subtle differences. A very desirable and rare IAB in very good condition featuring the lily-pad setup, one of two setup variants used by this maker on its early combat award production.
