Correct unmarked blade, as with SS chained service daggers. It shows the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" with some slight rust marks on the motto and base of the blade. Fine black wooden handle with original SS roundel and national eagle. No damage. The pommel nut is made with a different finish but this dagger is from a private houseold and 100% correct.
Black annodized steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. No dents.All four screws are present. With the original dagger chain (magnetic). The chain links display SS-runes and skulls. with overlayed "SS" runes stamped to the reverse as expected.
This is a textbook example of a rare dagger that would shine as a hallmark of any dagger collection.
