Rare and unique k98 bayonet frog. Rubberized heavy canvas in black color, nicely stitched in white cotton thread gives this frog its unique appearance. Produced by the firm « C. RIESE BERLIN 1941 ». In mint unissued condition, the rubber is still soft. A material that is known to have been used by the German war industry throughout the war to manufacture various other equipments including the belts and entreating tool cases.
