A rare NPEA Student's Dagger. Worn by a student of the National Political Institutes of Education based in Rufach (Alsace). Known as "NAPOLA".

The blade is etched with the motto "Mehr sein als scheinen." and the maker's mark by "Karl Burgsmüller, Berlin". It has slight pitting and a small piece of the tip is missing. Brown wooden handle, similarly designed as a SA Dagger but without emblems. Correct aluminium fittings. The lower crossguard bears the name of the school "15. RUFACH" (stamped).

Original steel scabbard, but olive-brown repainted after the war. Both original screws and frog stud are present. "7581?" numbered on the inside of the stud. The number is hard to make out. Including a matching black leather frog. Named "E. Kuck" and dated "11.VII.41" to the back.
