The inscription on the back is a hand written dedication by doctor Wilhelm Ziegelmayer & signiture who was head of the german reich military catering. Dedication reads in rememberance of the visit of out fuhrer Adolf Hitler on may 17h 1939" On the front is the menu for the troops.

Wilhelm Ziegelmayer -Born 18h Jan 1898, died 4h Jan 1951 in Belin. Was during the time of national socialism the strategic head of the German military and public catering, then coordinator of nutrition policy in the Soviet occupation zone.
