SS photo album of a member of the 11.SS-Totenkopf-Standarte. The album documents his war service in Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Ukraine and Yugoslavia from June 1940 until 1943. His handwritten notes are very helpful in understanding his service. On 25. February 1941 the Standarte was renamed SS-Infanterie-Regiment 11. It was severely decimated during the Russian campaign and disbanded on 14. October 1941. The remaining soliders were transferred to "Der Führer" and "Deutschland".
