A German M18 helmet. Basically, a WW1 period time designed helmet model which was however rarely ssued again after 1935 to both Heer and Luftwaffe soldiers. The shell of this M18 helmet received an M34 helmet liner and was painted with white winter camo color. A Heer decal was applied which is however only about 55% present.
The liner is still flexible and very soft.

Chins strap: Maker marked and 1940 dated.
Markings: No markings to the shell visible due to the think white paint.
