Extremely rare Schaftmütze "Kepi" for SA border troops for fieldgrey wool with a dark green piping. 

First pattern party eagle attached to the front with one pin. Tombak cockade attached underneath. Both firmly in position. 

Black lacquered leather chinstrap, originally attached. Both buttons in correct place. 

Orange linen lining with size stamp "55" and a big N next to it. The sweatband shows signs of use and age, some cracks but still soft and firmly in position. 

An extremely rare cap in good original condition. No moth bites or stains.
