Branch: Artillery. Red color piping
Insignia: Zinc eagle and wreath badge, with all prongs in place and originally attached. Slightly mismatching patina.
Chin strap: black leather chinstrap, with correct buttons originally attached.
Lining: fine orange linen lining with minor signs of use and age.
Celluloid diamond: intact, no manufacturer mark there. Size stamp "57" underneath the celluloid.
Sweat-band: Signs of wear. No damage, and still soft. Hidden under the sweatband on the left side, there is a manufacturer's and a year stamp. "Uniformmützenfabrik Wilhelm Wethekam Dresden 21" and "1939".
Nice, barely worn cap in great condition with fresh colors and only minor moth bites.
