Outstanding private purchase, Kriegsmarine coastal artillery officers overseas cap, constructed in high quality material. « BeVo » insignia are factory applied, eagle is hand applied and cockade straight machine stitched. The cockade is flanked by a golden yellow rayon, inverted « V », soutache. Gilt wire piping for officers present and tightly affixed. The interior of the cap is fully lined in grey cotton. The lining is well marked with a black size inkstamp « 58 ». Half-moon sweat shield along the front is marked « QUALITÄTS MARKE ». The cap is in mint unissued condition. This cap comes out of a German veteran’s family with his enlisted man version.
