Beschreibung

Scare Kriegsmarine grouping to Obergefreiten Werner Lubbe serving with Batterie St. Pol - Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 204. He was involved in the defense of Fortress Dunkirk, known as the "Second Battle of Dunkirk". He was also killed in this battle on 24.3.1945.

Scare Dunkirk Shield. Made of tombak. Hollow construction. It has three small holes to attach it to the tunic. Field made. Size: 4x3.3 cm. Signs of age.

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Rare type. Issued on 1.4.1945. Signed by the Fortress Commander Dunkirk Vizeadmiral Friedrich Frisius, German Cross in Gold winner. Size: 13x17.5 cm.

Kriegsmarine Soldbuch. Issued on 1.9.1942. Original applied photo. Awards: Wound Bage in Black, Coastal Artillery Badge, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, and Dunkirk Shield on 16.2.1945. Very hard to find!

A nice Kriegsmarine group photo of coastal artillery members. Postcard size.

A letter from the "Wehrmacht-Gräber-Offizier" of the Fortress Dunkirk. He sent the military property of Obergefreiten Lubbe back to his family. Dated 27.5.1945.

Three field post letters from him. All were sent from Dunkirk.

Four membership/achievement booklets.

Three postwar letters to his family in connection with Obergefreiten Lubbe.
