The propeller blade of his Me 109 was used as a gravestone. It shows an Iron Cross and the inscription "Feldw. Rudi Philipp 6./JG.27 gef. 27.5.1944". Made of aluminum. Original finish. There is a solid iron bracket on the underside for fastening to the ground.

The gravestone was removed at the end of the war.
