Photo album of a member of the Reich Ministry for the Occupied Eastern Territories (Reichsministerium für die besetzten Ostgebiete). Also called "Ostministerium". The photos were taken around the Ukrainian city of Dobromyl in 1941. Including rare photos of the recruitment of Ukrainian volunteers for the Waffen-SS. Partly handwritten notes on the photos. The first two pages come with a handwritten dedication in German and Ukrainian. "Zum Andenken, von den ukrainischen Frauen der Stadt Dobromyl. Dobromyl 10.IX.1941" (In memory of the Ukrainian women from the city of Dobromyl. Dobromyl 10.IX.1941). Unfortunately, we could not translate the Ukrainian text.
