Hermann Göring's personal soup bowl. It was a present of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory on the occasion of his 50th birthday on 12. January 1943.
Underglazed golden dedication "DEM REICHSMARSCHALL DES GROSSDEUTSCHEN REICHES HERMANN GÖRING ZU SEINEM FÜNFZIGSTEN GEBURTSTAG 12. JANUAR 1943" to the bottom. "Sèvres 43" maker's mark.
Excellent white and green glazed porcelain with rich gold decoration. Oakleaf decor around the soup bowl. The front shows a partridges scene.
