The award - which was clearly issued and/or worn - shows moderate age, wear and/or staining. It was, however, never cleaned nor polished. The medal bears the makers'-mark: '65' stamped in its ring (denoting that it was produced by the maker or: 'Hersteller' 'Klein u. Quenzer'. The piece came mounted on its (shortened) ribbon and came stored in a period (ie. 'Zellstoff'-) based pouch that is maker-marked: 'Karl Wurster'.
