The drumheads were made from calfskin. Both are intact. The drum itself is made of wood and has a white painted background with black "flames". Complete with all the rops and adjustable leather "collars". On the top is a metal tag of the music store "Musikhaus Hans Zuber, Lippstadt", which sold the drum.
