Generalleutnant of the Luftwaffe Martin Harlinghausen served as commander of the "Seeflieger" (seaplane squadron) on Mallorca during the Spanish Civil War (Legion Condor). For his service, he was awarded the Spanish Cross in Gold with Diamonds. During World War II, he served as Geschwaderkommodore of Kampfgeschwader 26 and was also involved in the campaign in Africa. In the last two years of the war, Harlinghausen commanded the II. Fliegerkorps in the Mediterranean and Luftwaffenkommando West.

One side shows the Spanish national flag and the flag of the Spanish Falange of the Councils of the National Syndicalist Offensive (Falange Española de las JONS). In the center is a skull. On the other side is the NSDAP eagle. Size: 31x20 cm.
