Very rare early Heer 1st pattern visor cap (Feldmütze alter Art) with light-grey piping which was only worn by members of a Propagandakompanie. Collectors call this typ a "crusher" cap. The cap comes with a soft leather visor. It has the correct insignia hand-attached: Machine-woven silver-wire wreath badge and a EM/NCO cap eagle.
Silk lining. Leather sweat-band with two rips. Minor moth damage.
Please note that the color of the piping is no faded blue. We carefully checked areas covered from the sun light. The color is clearly grey.
A great cap with a lot of character. It has certainly seen some years of service.
