Mid to late war solid zinc grade II Panzer Assault Badge in Silver. Made by the Gablonz-based company J. Feix and properly marked with the maker's logo "JFS" on the reverse of the award. The award had a hard life and apart from heavy finish loss on the Panzer application shows clear traces of zinc rot. Accompanied by an old jeweler's case that is not linked to the award. (cf.
