A very early 1934/1935 tunic for a Feldwebel serving with Kavaller-Regiment 6. This tunic still has Reichswehr insignia to the sleeve and started its life as a Reichswehr tunic. In 1935, it would have got a Wehrmacht breast eagle attached. It is the early light grey type. This Feldwebel went for a fine officer's example on cloth backing.
"Goldgelb" color insignia. No. "6" cyphers. Rank pips slightly mismatching patina. One might have been replaced at a later time.
Collar tabs attached by machine. Breast eagle attached by machine to the cloth backing which is attached by hand.
Cotton lining without markings since this is a private purchased example. Dagger hanger.
