Wehrmacht army paratrooper's visor cap

Beschreibung
Heer Infanterie visor cap issued to a soldier called Rohlfs who served as an army paratrooper. While the cap is a standard infantry EM/NCO visor cap in terms of construction and designs, it is one of the very few issued to army paratroopers proofed by a name tag.

The interior of the cap was published in Eric Queen book "Red Shines the Sun: A Pictorial History of the Fallschirm-Infanterie".
Full pictures were published in Karl Veltze's book  "Deutsche Fallschirmjäger" Volume 3.
Please see last pictures.

Original attached aluminum insignia. White piping. Minor moth damage.

Size 54,5 marked. Red waterresistanz lining with an intact celluloid diamond. Original paper name tag with unit information: "Rohlfs - Pi.Zg. F.I.B." (Pionier-Zug / Fallschirm-Infanterie-Batallion). This Zug was commanded by later Oak Leaves winner Rudolf Witzig.
"Adolf Knecht Mützenfabrikation" maker marked underneath the sweat-band as well as "Landeslieferungs-Genossenschaft Württemberg" marked. "Nailor" named (looks like the name of an US GI).
