A true Close Combat Clasp in gold awarded for at least 50 days of close combat. Original gold finish remaining however heavily worn condition with period time repairs to the hinge. The pin was period time replaced.

A rare clasp which could certainly tell some story!
Please note that bronze finish can also be very close to a gold finish. However, to us, this is clearly a gold finish.
