The dagger comes with a very nice clean blade showing the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". Made by Robert Klaas, Solingen. Maker marked on the reverse.
Black wooden handle with inserted SS roundel and eagle. Two small chips to the top of the handle. Early nickel fittings. "II" stamped to the lower crossguard. Original black anodized steel scabbard with nickel fittings. No dents. All four screws in position as well as unopened.
