A stunning Kriegsmarine camo helmet which shows rest of a white snow camo helmet underneath the "South Front" camo paint. It certainly was covered with white paint once. The camo paint present at the moment is a classic 3-color paint which was used in Normandy a lot in 1944. There is khaki, red and green paint sprayed to the shell.
The gold color Kriegsmarine eagle decal was covered with paint but due to wear, you can see it again.
Original rivets with matching camo paint. Original liner in good condition. Soft and flexible. Size marked (probably 57 or 58). A old cord was added. Unmarked chin strap in matching condition. EF66 marked shell.
