A "mint" and unworn Luftwaffe visor cap for officers. An excellent quality piece which still comes in its original selling box.

Insignia: Hand-embroidered cap eagle and wreath badge. Both attached by hand. No corrosion. 
Chin strap: textbook officer's chin strap. Correct buttons period time attached.

Lining: finest yellow color silk. 
Celluloid diamond: intact. one small crack to the name tag pocket

Maker's mark: "Clemens Wagner" marked to the inside. "Verkaufsabteilung der Luftwaffe" distributor's marked. 
Sweat-band:  No signs of wear. Extremely soft. Marked "CW" (Clemens Wagner). There is also a date stamp to the inside which is however hard to read. 

A paper "58" size tag as well as a "58" stamp to the inside. 

Inside is still the original instruction paper mounted to the inner metal stabilisation ring explaining how to remove it before actually wearing the cap:
"Vor dem Tragen ziehe man an diesem Band des Lager-Bügel heraus! Die Form bleibt wetterfest!"

Not a single moth hole. Mo corrosion. Impossible to upgrade. Excellent shape.
