Nice photo grouping of Oberst Joseph Bauerschubert (1834-1903) serving as a regimental commander with Bavarian Infanterie-Regiment 13 and 19. He was involved in the battles of Beaumont, Sedan, and Paris.

The lot consists of 86 photos. It mainly shows military parades and maneuvers. Among them are five very nice portrait photos, where you can see his awards. Also included is a photo of Kaiser Wilhelm II sitting in a carriage and guarded by members of the Garde du Corps. The photograph dates from 1913.
