A very rare and unique German gas mask canister that is for use by a medic. The exterior of the canister is painted white and a red cross is painted on the top. The canister retains well over 95% of the white paint and red cross. It is in untouched condition, as found, never been cleaned. Nice age and patina are present. Some evidence of normal usage is present and features minor scuffs, scraps, and light dents. The canister is complete with its original issued straps. They are in very good shape, complete, and shows paint transfer in several areas. The pull tab is missing. The canister is nicely named. The original gas mask and the gasmask manual « Die S-Mask » are present. One of the hardest and most desirable variation to find in untouched condition. A choice example.
