A very nice M1938 German paratrooper « Fallschirmjäger » combat helmet. Mid-war construction. The helmet is a « ET66 » with a lot number of « 5082 ». The helmet's exterior is in very nice worn condition. Retains well over 85% of its factory matte blue feldgrau paint. Luftwaffe decal is 85% with nice toning. Mid-war aluminum bolts are complete and untouched. The helmet's interior matches the exterior. Complete with a really nice lightly worn early leather liner with a aluminum liner band. Maker marked and size stamped along the top « 54 ». Rubber pads are complete and fully intact. Debris accumulation along the inside is present. Chinstraps are complete and supple. A desirable German paratrooper combat helmet.
