Very nice set of two German directional signs, « Kommandantur » and « General Der luftwaffe Paris ». They were found in an attic of a Parisian house several decades ago during a renovation. They were taken down after the liberation of the city and were preserved. Signs are made in plain wood construction. Period hand painted in two colors white and black. Signs show age, nail holes, normal and typical wear. They are large and measures 00cm x 00cm, they are double sided and nestable. They remain in as found condition, uncleaned. Most if not almost all were destroyed or thrown away after the liberation of Paris in 1944. Unique set !
