USM1 bayonet for the USM1 Garand rifle, it is maker marked and dated « PAL 1943 » and has the US ordinance marking as well. It is complete with its black bakelite grips and plastic OD green scabbard. The soldier has customized his bayonet by soldering a knuckle duster to the handle. The back of the scabbard bears the name of a former girlfriend « OLGA », it was scratched, next to the name a broken heart. On the front of the sheath the name of his new girlfriend « NOEMIE ». The bayonet is in good used condition. This is a very interesting customized piece.
