Paratrooper jumping smock

Description

Very rare 1st pattern German WWII Fallschirmjäger M40 jumping smock (so-called "Knochensack"). This pattern was worn during the Crete Campaign. Made from light green mottled fabric. Typical brown cotton lining. "Schultz Berlin" maker marked which is a well known maker for jumping smocks. "Gr. IIC" size stamped.

Full working RAPID marked zippers to the bottoms. The long side zippers are also RAPID marked and fully working.
There is one upper zipper missing, the other one has the zip missing.
All period time press buttons are PRYM maker marked. There are three more press buttons which were added later.

The smock was period time converted from a "step-in pattern" into a pattern which to button up. Also, a gun pocket was added period time!
There were a few other period time conversation such as a pocket line added to the inside. That all looks to have been period time. Please see pictures for more details.

Clearly re-attached blue EM/NCO breast eagle.
