A German M35 helmet. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Period time green and yellow camo paint. Around 90% still present. Signs of wear.
Decals: It looks like this M35 was issued later in war and never had decals applied.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord. A hard-to-red stamp.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: A field-constructed strap which might have been made from a support strap.
