Very nice M40 Luftwaffe helmet with minor signs of wear. It was wartime painted with Heer grey sand camo paint. Excellent "56" marked lining with original cord. It is original to the Q64 maker marked and size marked (Quist, 64) shell. The prongs of the rivets are absolutely flat.
The chin strap is slightly shortened and shows sign of wear. It was most probably added at a later time.
The shell comes with full factory color to the inside and a period time added sun camo paint to the outside. Over 95% of the original color are in place.
