A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 75% still present. Signs of wear. Very dark
Decals: The eagle decal is about 70%. The national decal is about 70%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Replaced cord. Clearly worn.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: Soft leather. A later type marked with the RB-number.
