An M34 helmet pattern which was issued to many organisations. This example was issued with two decals and worn by an SS-VT or SD member. It is made from iron and stamped "STAHL".
Paint: 85% factory paint present. Early "apple-green" paint. Signs of wear and some rust.
Decals: Swastika decal: about 90%. SS decal about 90-95%. Some patina.
Lining: Still flexible. Some damage.
Chin strap: Damaged. About 50% in place.
Two rivets in place holding the inner ring correctly. One rivet incomplete and loose.
