  You will receive an e-mail confirming your successful bids the day after the auction has ended. In your personal my ratisbon's you will be able to inform us about your most convenient payment method for this order or tell us about an alternative shipping address.
  
  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. If you decide to change your shipping or payment method after receiving your invoice, just drop us a line or visit my ratisbon's/ORDERS for any more details.

Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

Luftwaffe Honor Goblet to Feldwebel Leopold Hofbauer serving as an Transportflieger with Transportgeschwader 4. Missing in action in the Posen area on 2. February 1945. Also awarded the German Cross in Gold on 1. January 1945.

"JOH.WAGNER&SOHN" maker marked and "FEINSILBER -ALPKA- AUFLAGE" marked on the bottom. Engraved around the base "FELDWEBEL LEOPOLD HOFBAUER AM 20.1.43". The goblet has no dents. Lovely patina.

Weight: 389 gr.

Comes with the original certificate. Issued on 20. January 1943. Facsimile signature by Hermann Göring and hand-signed by General der Flieger Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf, German Cross in Silver winner. Folded once.
