Heer parade tunic

Description

This tunic belonged to an Oberwachmeister serving with Kavallerie-Regiment 21. His earlier tunic was Reiter-Regiment 1. This auction offers two tunics to this soldier.

A very rare Heer Waffenrock "parade tunic" worn by a Kavallerie Unteroffizier serving with Reite-Regiment 1. Typical design with dark green collar and cuffs. No pockets.

A beautiful matching patina to all parts of the tunic which comes with period time applied insignia.

Shoulder boards: Unteroffizier type. "Goldgelb" color piping. Machine-embroidered "1". Very rare boards!
Collar tabs: "Goldgelb" color. Period time machine-attached
Collar: Dark green. "Goldgelb" color piping.
Band leader's swallow nests with fringe.

Breast eagle: A hand-embroidered officer's style. Attached by hand.

Buttons: All buttons complete and period time attached.
Lining: Fine silk. A "Fritz Reuter" tailor's label.

A few really tiny moth bites if you look closely.
