This tunic belonged to an Oberwachmeister serving with Kavallerie-Regiment 21. His earlier tunic was Reiter-Regiment 1. This auction offers two tunics to this soldier.
Early privately purchased "Dienstrock" of an Oberwachtmeister serving with Kavallerie-Regiment 21. The tunic is unit marked "Geprüft 3./ R.R.1" which was the unit he signed up earlier on.
Collar tabs: Machine-attached collar tabs. Period time. Nice patina.
Shoulder boards: "Goldgelb" color. "21" ciphers. Two raank pips
"Goldgelb" piping along the button line.
Breast eagle: Machine-embroidered. Attached by hand. Some moth damage to the dark green backing.
Fine green silk lining. Some open seams and signs of wear and age.
Buttons: Complete and originally attached. Correct early pattern.
