An early Heer service tunic made around 1935/46 which must have been re-issued at the end of the war.
A few non-textbook modifications were done: Gebirgsjäger Unterfeldwebel boards were sewn in. No.4 cpyhers were stiched with light green thread to make that "Grenadier-Regiment 4" boards.
The early machine-stiched breast eagle which is original to this tunic was upgraded with silver thread and a few dark green stiches. Police collar tabs were attached by machine since they provided the correct green color.
Cotton lining with original size markings. Typical early buttons. Complete and original attached.
Some moth damage. One pair of loops for one award (one loop damaged).
